Dr. Sonia Barreto
Dr Sonia Barreto (DDM, BMedSc, MPH) was educated at Javeriana University in Colombia, one of the premier dental faculties in South America.
Sonia has practiced in both private and public in Colombia and in Australia. Sonia performs a wide variety of general dental procedures but has special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Sonia’s approach to dentistry is marked by a holistic approach that emphasises the general wellbeing of the patient. This view of dental practice is further enhanced by the Master of Public Health that Sonia obtained from the University of Melbourne. Sonia believes that good dental health is a significant factor in a person’s overall well-being, therefore dental treatment not only responds to the immediate dental problem but also contributes to the patient’s general health and well-being. This philosophy characterises Sonia’s practice of dentistry.
Away from dentistry, Dr Sonia Barreto enjoys singing, playing guitar and dancing.
Dr. Alex Harano
I absolutely love what I do and you will most definitely see that come through when you’re in the chair with me! my philosophy is to provide honest, quality dental treatment in an environment that is welcoming, comfortable, and modern.
I graduated from Mogi Das Cruzes’s University in Brazil in 1999 then finished post-graduate studies in Orthodontics in Sao Paulo in 2002. Furthermore, I have completed extensive continuing education and certification at Ohu Dentistry University in Japan. Yes, I am also fluent in Portuguese and Japanese.
I have practiced for over 17 years in both Brazil and in Australia, and I am passionate about cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry. In my years of experience, the most rewarding aspect of dentistry for me is seeing patients regaining confidence with their enhanced smiles. I believe good oral health directly influences the patient’s general health.
When I’m not working in the clinic, I am spending my free time walking, cycling, swimming and playing guitar.
Dr. Evgeny Passov
Dr Evgeny (Eugene) Passov obtained his degrees of Doctor of Dental Medicine and Bachelor of Medical Science in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel) in 2009. After working for several years in private practice, he decided to make Australia home for his young family.
Eugene is dedicated to providing the highest standard of dental care to his patients. He is constantly pursuing continuous education, both in Australia and overseas, placing greater emphasis on advanced implant dentistry. When not at work, Eugene loves spending time with his family and enjoys a good book”
Dr. Ximena Rojas
Dentistry isn’t just my profession, it’s my lifelong passion. I’m here to share this passion with you, one smile at a time. I began my journey in dentistry after earning my Bachelor of Dentistry from the National University of Colombia in 2009. Starting in both the public and private sectors, I quickly realized the impact a great smile can have on someone’s life.
My dedication led me to a Post-Graduate degree in Prosthodontics, which I received in 2015. With seven years of dental experience in Colombia, I decided to bring my passion for transforming smiles to Australia.
I understand the benefits of the latest dental technology and I keep myself up to date to ensure my patients receive top-notch care in a warm, comfortable environment. Beyond dentistry, I’m a traveler and a cinema enthusiast, cherishing time with friends and family.
